Goethe-Zertifikat

The Goethe-Zertifikat is the language proficiency exam in German offered by the Goethe-Institut, corresponding to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), ranging from level A1 for beginners to C2 for the most advanced language learners. These exams are conducted by Max Mueller Bhavan in India, situated in six cities: Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Chennai. These proficiency certificates are valid for a lifetime and are accepted for all official purposes such as student visas and work visas. The course modules also help you prepare for the Goethe-Zertifikat, enabling candidates to get certified and converse in the language.

The course modules are structured according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) into six levels and four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing, evaluated at each level—A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.
